OUR APPROACH

WolfLab's highly professional documentary-style video production method ensures your business is portrayed in a candid, natural and authentic tone without the canned television commercial approach.  The result is similar to opening your doors for a potential customer's walk-thru on a normal day of business to showcase your staff and services.  This approach has been widely adopted by many top production companies throughout the world as a highly successful means of business marketing through video, and we are extremely skilled and experienced in helping you portray your business in the best light possible with this method.  

OUR PRODUCT

The finished product is a 60-second digital voiceover video that you can play anywhere you want to market your business, whether on your own Web site, or on your lobby or waiting room television or personal data device.  Voiceovers are audio narratives captured through on-camera interviews with the owner, manager or other spokesperson of the business and can involve testimonials from existing customers.  The voiceover is then matched with and dubbed over video captured of the business' operations and includes a light soundtrack in the background.  View samples here .  

WHAT IT INVOLVES

1.  Contact us and tell us you need a video!

2.  Determine your message.  Business owners or managers first identify the key selling points they want to get across to their customers.  These messages can be standard business messages or specifically focused messages to attract a particular demographic or further a separate business goal.  Sixty seconds goes by fast, but it's plenty of time to cover 4-5 main topics.  Do you want to showcase your innovation? services? staff? technology?  Or do you want to explain your excellent customer service philosophy and have a client testimonial on the video? Or maybe all of the above?  Would you like to shoot the video in your lobby?  Showroom floor? warehouse? surgical unit? Develop your messages and jot them down, but there's no need to write a script.  Our trusted documentary-style approach means we want to hear what you have to say naturally and from your heart.  It's your business and your passion - let it show through on the video.  We go step by step during the on-camera interview and can take care of any "ums," and "ahs" in the editing process so you'll be sure to look and sound your best.  If you absolutely don't have anyone in your business who wants to talk on camera (and it happens!) we can provide professional male or female talent to voice it for you at no extra charge.

3.  Schedule your shoot day.   Let us know what you've envisioned and we'll work with you to make that vision a reality and help you through all the details to ensure you and your staff are prepared and above all comfortable and relaxed.  

4.  We produce the video.   A normal shoot takes no more than 4 hours maximum, and can usually be completed in 2-3 hours.  The first hour will be spent getting a feel for your business and conducting the on-camera interview with the owner or other company spokesperson.  The latter half is spent on shooting background footage of the business itself and its operations.  Remember:  Customers want to see how the business operates when they're researching you online.  So please don't feel you need to halt your normal operations for the purposes of shooting the video if at all possible unless there is an obvious risk to the personal safety or confidentiality of your customers or staff.  We use minimal equipment and require very little setup time and work very discreetly to not disturb your operations.  However, the idea is to see customers and staff and their interactions, whenever possible.  So if you're a dentist, you should have someone in the chair.  If you're a contractor, you should have a pre-arranged customer's home to work on.  If you're a veterinarian, you should have a calm dog or cat to examine.  Customers and clients should be encouraged to be in the video if they are present and willing as they can make excellent 5-10-second testimonials for your business.  If you don't have customers (or they're unwilling to be filmed) and want customers in your video, staff can always act as customers.  We can shoot from angles that allow people to either be identified or kept anonymous.  And it's not necessary to do a major cleaning of your business unless you really just want to clean.  The same camera angles that hide people can also hide cluttered lobbies, offices and desks, and most of our camera shots are kept close up and tight to keep the viewer engaged.  Long, wide shots of office spaces or warehouses aren't very interesting unless it helps to tell the story.  It is important that you put yourself in a potential customer's shoes in the planning process and determine what you would want to see if you were looking for a business such as your own..  You will then be able to better understand how to combine each of these elements to create an authentic and compelling atmosphere to showcase your business.  And when it comes to savvy online video viewers, authenticity is absolutely crucial.   

5.  We edit and deliver the video.  Our editing process takes 24-48 hours.  When the video is complete you will have the opportunity to view it and make any additional changes.  We strive to make sure we don't leave your business on the day of the shoot unless we've all agreed that you've said everything you want to get across in the video and that we've captured the best elements of your business visually.  If changes are necessary, for the initial price you will be able to receive the first edit at no charge.  Additional edits beyond the first will incur an additional hourly rate.  (See our Pricing page  for more details).  When you are satisfied with the final product, we will deliver all final materials to you.  We will also work with you to identify what type of format you will need to upload the video to your Web site including consultation with a Webmaster or Web service provider if necessary.  

We also travel!  We are based in Indianapolis, Indiana, but we travel literally anywhere in the U.S. and abroad to produce videos for our customers (for a minimal additional cost to cover our travel expenses if you are outside of a 50-mile radius of Indianapolis).
